£0 remaining for a skip

We are helping a local resident who was referred to us by a local foodbank. She has chronic health issues and is living in a ground floor council flat. Her health issues mean that she is unable to dig her overgrown garden or cut the top of her hedge. As part of a larger community project, we are mobilising local volunteers to help her clear weeds, cut the lawn and bring the hedge height down so that it is in a manageable state for her, and can become a useable space for her again. Please can you help with the cost of a skip?

£200 needed for a washing machine

S and her husband, R, have eight children. R works as a handy man, although he is struggling to find enough work that will fit with his health needs, as he struggles with his mental health and at times is unable to go out of the house. The family is, therefore, dependent on the basic benefits and R's limited income, and has no savings. The washing machine, which is used daily, recently broke irreparably and needs replacing urgently as they cannot afford launderette costs with the vast amount of daily washing.

£200 needed for carpet fitting

R is a disabled gentleman who has complex health needs. He has recently been granted a social housing bungalow which is better suited to his needs. His only income is from benefits, as he has no savings or living relatives. The property is not carpeted and Social Services is worried about the impact a damp, cold property will have on his chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. We have carpets, but are just hoping that some kind and generous donors will help us make R’s home somewhere safe and warm for him with carpet fitting costs.

£200 needed for carpet fitting

D, an elderly gentleman who is eighty next year, has been living in his house without any form of floor covering for several years. Social Services is now involved, due to concerns about self neglect. To make the property more liveable and warmer, D needs to put carpets down, but he simply can't afford to. We have an offer of free carpets and vinyl, but we need a little hep with the cost of fitting them. Praying our kind Acts 435 donors will support this.

£200 needed for a voucher for food, toiletries and clothing

My client is struggling with health issues that prevent him from being able to work. Despite this, he has been turned down for disability benefits many times! He has been struggling to get by on Universal Credit alone and has amassed a few debts. My client is rationing his food and energy, to the point that he will not eat for a week at a time and doesn't even watch television anymore to save power. We are assisting with his debt and a new Personal Independence Payment claim, but it takes months. Please can you help with a voucher for food, toiletries and clothing please?
