Colin is currently the main carer for his very elderly mother who is disabled from strokes and heart problems. He needs the car to transport her to and from the various hospital appointments that have to be kept, as well as helping with daily routines i.e shopping, doctors & collecting pension. Ex addict & recovering alcoholic David, has worked extremely hard to turn his life around & is now nurturing his partner through the same. They suffered a huge setback during last year when their baby was taken from them & adopted. Now in a better place, they are working hard making home a good, comfortable place to be. The couple need a small freezer for storage to enable better budgeting for food shopping. We're helping with furniture & curtains and CAP is also working here.

Lynette and Mark have recently moved into their current home but are struggling to live on maternity benefit. Mark has applied for ESA which hasn't yet been granted. They also have an 8yr old daughter and a new baby to care for. They are in need of a fridge freezer as they have nowhere to store their fresh food and baby feeds. At the moment they are reliant on other family members to store some foods for them, but now the baby has arrived the arrangements are proving difficult.

She is afraid to leave the house, and her daughter has been missing school because of this (leading to serious impact on the child's learning and social development). An offering has been made by out of school clubs to help but this will cost £17.50 per week. It is hoped that police invovlement and mediation will help, but in the meantime £100 would ensure her attendance at school for the rest of this term.

Whilst her income is being sorted out according to her new situation, she has no fluid money to fund the second hand buggy she's been offered to enable the children to be easily transported together.
