This lady is a single mother of 3 who has struggled for years trying to provide for her children the best way she can. She has worked on and off but is currently unemployed. After paying her bills, buying food and school expenses for her older children there is very little left for extras. Her 3yr old daughter desperately needs a new bedroom carpet as the one she has is threadbare and as she suffers from hyper-mobility she frequently falls, a nice soft carpet would prevent her been hurt.

About 18 months ago the main part of my oven stopped working. I was told it would be cheaper to get a new one but as my husband had just left me and was not paying any contribution for the upkeep of his children I couldn't afford it. So I have been managing with the little top oven and rings. Unfortunately, the rings have now stopped working so I really do need a new one as I have two hungry boys to cater for.

This young mother claims to be a victim of bullying by a close neighbour and her father. She is afraid to leave the house, and her daughter has been missing school because of this (leading to serious impact on the child's learning and social development). An offering has been made by out of school clubs to help but this will cost £17.50 per week. It is hoped that police invovlement and mediation will help, but in the meantime £100 would ensure her attendance at school for the rest of this term.

Jess has just come out of a 3yr relationship. Through the last 2yrs she has suffered both emotional and violent abuse. She is now caring for her very young children aged just 2yrs and 3mths. Unfortunately Jess has accrued some debt and is trying hard to pay this off. Whilst her income is being sorted out according to her new situation, she has no fluid money to fund the second hand buggy she's been offered to enable the children to be easily transported together.

This ladys' son has problems with his feet which means he needs to wear strong, leather, extra wide fitting shoes which are quite expensive. She is struggling with her finances due to a change in circumstances and is unable to buy him new ones. It hasn't been very long since she managed to buy his last pair but due to the nature of his problem they don't last him very long. He could really do with a new pair especially during this very cold, wet weather.
