£0 remaining for food, and gas and electric bills
This lady has had her work hours reduced so she is struggling to make ends meet. She especially needs help to buy food and pay bills, such as gas and electricity. This lady is hoping that her hours of work will be reinstalled, but until that happens, she needs some help. Thank you.
This gentleman, who has severe mental health issues, is a diabetic and has celiac disease, is claiming Universal Credit. He has recently been released from hospital, following a five week stay after falling into a diabetic coma. The flat he lives in had to be broken into and, due to having issues with hoarding, the council removed and destroyed some of his furniture, household items, bedding and clothes. This gentleman is due to return home very soon, but doesn't have money to replace everything. Please can you help him to replace his bed and sofa? Thank you.
This lady has finally moved to a new property, due to the previous property being riddled with damp and mould. As a result, she had to throw away much of her furniture, including beds and mattresses which had mould on them. This lady, who is older, has a twisted spine and so her son has been helping to care for her. Until they have a bed, mattress and sheets, they cannot move into their new home and, as such, are currently under real financial strain paying two rents. Please could you support this lady?
This man, who has epilepsy and is not allowed to drive, receives Universal Credit, but is unable to claim Housing Benefit, so much of his money goes on paying the rent. He would like to visit his mother, who lives in Kent and is unwell, so he would need to travel by train. Our client cannot afford to pay for the train fare. This request is from his Housing Support Worker, as he is reluctant to ask for help for himself. Please would you help him to visit her? Thank you.
