Turning Point Church

L is a single mother who has come out of a life of addiction and has since been rebuilding her life in a new place with her young son. Currently there is a strain on finances due to being a single parent and increased cost of living and childcare costs so therefore has been unable to afford to buy essentials such as a new mattress and they have been getting by on old, second hand mattresses. They would be incredibly grateful for a new mattress so they can enjoy a better nights sleep.

Having just moved into family accommodation, following living in a single room in a shared block, L (who has ill health), her partner and young toddler, are currently struggling to afford food whilst they seek to meet the cost of other essentials, like purchasing rugs or scrap carpet to cover their concrete floors. A supermarket voucher would really help bring the family some much needed financial relief, as they seek to still eat whilst making their home safe for their little one.
