She is struggling with her finances due to a change in circumstances and is unable to buy him new ones. It hasn\'t been very long since she managed to buy his last pair but due to the nature of his problem they don\'t last him very long. He could really do with a new pair especially during this very cold, wet weather.

She was delighted that she was able to get it as she would never have been able to save enough to buy one herself. It will make such a difference to her and her son, they will be able to eat proper meals now and are feeling really blessed to have received this help.

She is very vulnerable and has history of depression and anxiety as well as mobility issues. She is trying to attend support groups and ESOL classes but is still awaiting the outcome of her claim for disability allowance and is needing to take taxis to get to the classes.

It is jointly organised by Church Action on Poverty, Housing Justice and Scottish Churches Housing Action. Many of our requests are for individuals who have recently been housed sometimes after years living on the streets. Acts 435 provides a great opportunity for people to help these vulnerable adults in practical ways.
