C is a single mum living with her fifteen year old daughter, who often has her older daughter and grandchildren around. She has mental health conditions, including anxiety, for which she receives Personal Independence Payment. C is in receipt of Universal Credit, but struggles with the rise in basic living costs. Her fridge freezer is fifteen years old and is no longer reliable. We are seeking support for a new fridge freezer which will help mum with both physical and mental health.

L is a single mother who has recently moved into an unfurnished property with her mother, teenage brother and her two young children. They are trying to furnish the property, but as they are reliant on Universal Credit, they are finding it very difficult to be able to afford to buy furniture. They have no storage for the children's clothes, and would really appreciate your help to be able to purchase a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Thank you for your support.

Our client, who struggles with depression, is not receiving any benefits at present because he is changing from his present credit to Universal Credit, which can take several weeks to arrange. He has had mental health problems for several years and his physical health is poor. Our client is waiting for Thyroid tests and has regular blood tests. He has a young son who lives with him every other week and, therefore, has to wash the school uniform. Dad's washing machine is broken and cannot be repaired. Please can you help him?

She has not long suffered a mental health crisis and is only able to see her children once every two weeks, until her home is more liveable. R has barley any furniture and is struggling to make ends meet on her low, benefit only income. She also has debts and has been relying on the foodbank. Please may you consider supporting this lady with a supermarket voucher so that she can ensure she is eating properly?

S is an asylum seeker from Iran who is in the UK with her husband and seven year old son. S and her husband were forced to flee Iran when they converted to Christianity, their lives were threatened and it was no longer safe for them to remain. Her family were not able to carry a lot of personal items with them so they are in need of clothes and shoes. They would also like some toys for their son and some stationery to help them with their English studies.

L currently receives Universal Credit and has just moved into her first independent living accommodation. It is only a partially furnished rental property and, although she has been given some items to set up her home, L is in real need of a wardrobe, chest of drawers, a bedroom mirror, and duvet and some bowls for the kitchen. Any donations towards these items would be gratefully appreciated and help set her up in her first home.

Her benefits only just cover her bills so she doesn't have any extra money. SK would use these funds to pay for a washing machine and a passport, as this is another essential expense that she is struggling to afford. SK is trying to settle into her community and home, and would use these funds to help her do so.

A suffers from chronic physical and mental health issues, following an injury. As a single mother to a child with autism, she faces severe financial hardship and relies on food banks and disability benefits. A currently sleeps on a broken bed, which worsens her pain. We are seeking support to provide her with a new bed frame to improve her health and wellbeing.
