Our client is fifty five and two years ago she was attacked by a group of adults and this resulted in a brain injury, and she has she been diagnosed PTSD. Our client was referred to us by her GP to support with debt advice as she has got into debt with bills and she cannot not afford to repay them out of her benefits. We did a home visit and could see that there was no food in the house and no electric or gas on her meters. Our client has nobody else to help, please could you help her.

C is twenty seven and has recently been given the keys to her flat, she is currently working part time but is trying to increase her hours to full time, she also receives support from universal credit to pay towards the rent. This is like a fresh start for C as she went through the care system as a child and was then sofa surfing with friends for quite a while. She has been buying the smaller household items but cannot afford the larger items. Please could you help C with a sofa and chair?

We have a single lady with learning difficulties who is on Employment Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment. The microwave we bought her a year ago has sadly blown due to an accident and she really needs help getting a new one please. She has asked for a specific microwave that she is familiar with if possible as she will how to use it, taking into consideration her learning difficulties.

H is a single mum who is homeless. She has a 14 year old daughter and they have been sleeping on a friends sofa for a year and a half. H had to flee an abusive relationship which is what has caused H and her daughter to be homeless. H has only got shorts and T-shirts, both of which are not appropriate for the upcoming winter. H would like to be able to buy herself a winter coat and some trousers.

Y. would like a bicycle because it will help him access opportunities to feel part of the community. Y. is new to Gateshead area and a bike will hugely increase his independence and health by helping him access learning and keep in touch with his support network. Y. doesn't have any savings or spare money to buy a bicycle for himself, he hopes having a bike will help him save money because he won't need public transport. Y. is tall and hasn't been able to find a cheaper bike that fits him.

Our client is a single mother with five children who is struggling to afford to pay for their care, as she only receives £900 per month from Universal Credit and Child Benefit, which is not enough to cover the family's costs. Mum is also paying for the costs of bringing her eldest child to the UK from South Africa, and has had to pay for him to travel to visa appointments. The £200 will be converted into Tesco vouchers to help the family buy food and clothing.

G is disabled and had an undercounter fridge and freezer but his disability makes it difficult to access these. The cost of food has made it tricky to save and replace household items. However, G has been able to save some money to put towards a new fridge freezer but needs help to be able to buy the taller unit that's needed.

V is a single mum to 4. Her son Z has complex needs at school and would benefit from loop ear defenders, fidgets and some tech to help him focus in school. Z is an amazing young man with a very supportive mum, he is determined to succeed. Together with his mum and siblings, Z volunteers at his local church. He is very kind and has overcome a lot of difficulties. He now just needs a bit of help to settle in and thrive in year 7.

M is a mum of 5 and is really struggling since losing her job in April of this year she has been unable to find anything else although she is looking all the time. Her car needs new break pads and discs. She has also just had some really heartbreaking news about her daughter as she fell seriously ill a couple of months ago and she has now been diagnosed with a very rare type severe immunodeficiency syndrome. It is a genetic defect in her immune system which means it doesn’t function properly. She needs her car to travel between the hospital and home.
