£0 remaining for a washer
H, a single mother with two children, is a refugee who recently moved to a new house which is unfurnished. She would like your help to support her so she can buy a used washer. H had already spend a lot of money on buying carpets and painting the house, and currently she needs help with a cooker.
LA is a single mum to five children who works part-time on a low income. The family have been living in temporary accommodation for three years as they fled from their home, due to domestic violence. LA has worked really hard to keep her family together during this very challenging time. They have now been rehoused into an unfurnished house, but mum has no savings. Riviera Life church have purchased beds for the family, but LA would be very grateful for funds to buy a washing machine.
K is a single parent with two children, aged six and seven years old, and an eight month old baby. She has no support from any of her previous partners and has moved to her current flat for a place of safety, due to domestic abuse. Mum manages her finances well, however, her mother is unable to support her because she is disabled herself. K can manage to pay the domestic bills, but the washing machine is broken beyond repair and she would love to have it replaced.
This mum, who has two children, is unable to work, due to a disability, and one of her children is also disabled. Her partner works part-time and they are in receipt of benefits, but are struggling to get by and have no reserves. Their cooker is old and they can no longer get parts to repair it so would appreciate any support you can give to enable them to purchase a replacement. Due to their disabilities, being able to cook healthy food makes such a difference to their health. Thank you.
