J, a mum of four primary school aged children, was left in debt by her ex-partner's gambling habit. She has worked with Christians Against Poverty this year to become debt free and to manage her finances. J's washing machine has broken and she needs £200 towards a new one which she cannot afford as she is on Universal Credit and does not want to get into debt again. Having four children means doing washing several times a week and J is currently hand washing in the bath. Please could you help?
