Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
I have just spoken to our client, who said she is already jumping for joy that her request is even being considered. She is a single parent with a 13 year old and is on Universal Credit and Child benefit. It is a struggle to budget for utilities, food and council tax and she currently washes by hand as the laundrette is an extra expense. She is definitely excited about the thought of having a washing machine and grateful for this chance to own one. Thank you.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200M was in a hit and run accident in 2022, sustaining many injuries and has had to have his hip replaced. His walking and general mobility have worsened since then and therefore he is unable to work. He is in receipt of Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payments, but also has accumulated debts which he has an arrangement to pay back. He would be very grateful for some help to buy a fridge freezer as the one in the kitchen where he lives does not work. Thank you for reading this.
