Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

A client from Syria has been moved to the North East with his family. He has complex medical problems, requiring frequent hospital appointments, and it is difficult for him to get to the local hospital. He feels isolated and this is impacting his mental health. Your support will enable him to get a phone and internet to help the family to communicate easily with the Authorities, and clothing for their child. The family are in a frustrating environment and we are trying to rehouse them in a location that is more appropriate. They only receive £122.55 weekly from the Home Office so are struggling financially.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150Our client is recently bereaved, following the suicide of her partner. She has two young children living with her and also a young step-daughter who she cares for at weekends. She is financially struggling since the loss of her partner, as he was the family's main source of income. The recent increase in the country's cost of living is causing a financial strain. Her physical and mental wellbeing is being negatively impacted, due to her sudden bereavement, and supporting her children with their grief. Please can you help to provide a school uniform?
