Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

M is experiencing financial hardship and urgently needs a fridge freezer to store food safely. As he currently relies solely on Universal Credit, affording such an essential appliance is beyond his reach, and significantly impacts his overall wellbeing. Your support would alleviate M's daily burdens and help him maintain a stable and healthy home. Your generosity will make a tangible difference in his daily life.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200A, who was previously an asylum seeker from Malawi, now has leave to remain. She is currently in receipt of Universal Credit, as she is unemployed, due to her mental health impairment. A has been assessed and diagnosed as schizophrenic and is receiving spiritual counselling. She is now regarded as disabled and won’t be able to work for the next eleven months, whilst in receipt of medical treatment. Following her diagnosis, A had to leave her job and fell into arrears with her utility bill.
Still £200 left to donate

Total needed £200This refugee family, consisting of two parents and three children from Afghanistan, have been placed in a house locally and are having to set up home from scratch. Local churches have donated many items to them, but they are still in need of a vacuum cleaner, a wardrobe and two chest of drawers so that they can keep their house in good order. At the moment, clothes have to be stacked on the floors, for which they borrow a vacuum cleaner. Your gifts will help them to live with dignity.
