Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £150This request is for a young girl who is starting Secondary School after needing to move with her mum and siblings, due to domestic violence. She has absolutely nothing for High School and we would love to see her kitted out in all she needs, which will help with her confidence too.
Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £100S has two children and has escaped domestic abuse. She is in emergency accommodation, and left everything behind when she ran with her children. Warming up the Homeless has provided toys for the children and shoes, but they have very little clothing. The children would be so very grateful to you for clothing, and so would mum. Thank you!
Still £40 left to donate
Total needed £40K has been in an abusive relationship and found the strength to leave when a Claire’s Law Disclosure was read to her. Still £35 left to donate
Total needed £35This lady came to us in 2020, during Covid. At this time, she was having trouble with the Landlord, as the Council had miscalculated her benefits. She was harassed daily and this led to her suffering from anxiety and depression. She was also the victim of name calling and abuse from the individuals that were living in the property, which led to her being arrested. Due to no help from any service, this lady has been homeless for three years. We helped by providing three nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation to help her mental health.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150This client is a young, single parent with a two year old son who fled from her parental home where she was a victim of domestic violence. She has been offered an unfurnished property, but has no funds with which to set up her new home. She is reliant upon Universal Credit and Child Benefit, which barely covers her regular outgoings. Your help is very much needed to provide her with a fridge freezer.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150L has experienced Human Trafficking. After spending time in a multiple occupancy Refuge, she has now taken the brave step to move into Semi Supported Accommodation. This will enable her to move towards independence, whilst she has accessed counselling to begin to recover from the trauma of her experiences. L is in need of a new mattress for the safe flat she is now living in, as she begins to rebuild her life.
Still £100 left to donate
Total needed £100Z has recently been rehoused with her three children, because of domestic violence. There is very little furniture in their new home and they are in urgent need of such items as a bed, a dining table and a chest of drawers. Their Social Worker is trying every avenue to help them furnish the home and has made this request on their behalf, to try and meet some of their furniture needs.
