Life was going reasonably well for W until his younger brother died. Since then, this twenty eight year old has had severe mental health problems. Financial problems, and the threat of eviction, made W turn to Christians Against Poverty, who are helping to put his life and finances back together. He is enrolled on a hairdressing course and the future is starting to look brighter for him. W is coping with new bills as they come in, but past debts are causing concern and he needs a fresh start. Please can you help him?

As we talked, she shared that she is struggling financially and cannot afford the fee for a Debt Relief Order which is being supported by StepChange. She has suffered with anxiety and depression since the age of fourteen and is now receiving counselling. She would greatly appreciate your help to start the Debt Relief Order process, as this would enable her to make a fresh start and have a brighter future without significant stress and worry.

She is struggling to buy items for her property, but has taken steps to attend a budgeting course to help her make maximum use of her Universal Credit, which is her only source of income. Her son has a dust allergy and his health is adversely affected by not being able to keep the floors clean. They are also in need of a wardrobe. Please can you help?

The twelve year old is now living with him and he wants to be able to provide a stable future. His other daughters, one suffering from Autism, live with their mum. Our client suffers from Psychosis and has been referred to his local City Council Early Intervention Psychosis team. His current support is helping him deal with his priority debts.

When he was discharged, he was moved to new accommodation, but it is unfurnished and he does not have a washing machine. The gentleman only receives the basic sickness benefits, as he cannot work, and this leaves him with very little to live off.

Total needed £150L is a single person who suffered from domestic abuse in the recent past. She has mental health difficulties and is only able to work part time, on minimum wage. She has accumulated a debt burden, from which Citizens Advice believe that she can only be freed by a Debt Relief Order. L would be very grateful for help with the fee.

Total needed £90M is a single parent of three children and struggles with various mental health issues. She receives no child maintenance, as she fled from domestic violence two years ago. She hasn't been able to manage her bills and has; therefore, built up debt. Having sought help from Citizens Advice, M is waiting to apply for a Debt Relief Order and would be grateful for a kind donation for the fee.

Total needed £90S is the sole carer for his wife and he is not too well, suffering from mental health and domestic abuse. He has no suitable clothes to wear and, on a daily basis, wears clothes which have large holes in and are unkempt. Mostly due to Covid, and weight gain, his current clothes are of ill fitting. This, and the impact of the fuel cost rises, have had an impact on both himself and his wife's mental health. Neither of them are eating properly, due to the rising debts they are experiencing.

She is on benefits as she cannot work, due to poor health. She has a lot of incontinence and requires plenty of clothes washing, hence the reason she is asking for help. She cannot afford to buy a washer and dryer machine. Your help will be much appreciated.
