K has recently moved into her own property with her nine month old son. She is a recovering alcoholic and previously had her children removed from her care. She was living with her sister, which was Court ordered. K has done remarkably well and is now able to care for her son on her own, but has nothing and is currently sleeping on a blow up bed. Safe Families are supporting a dad who really wants to keep his front and back gardens tidy. He struggles with his mobility and has paid a gardener to do this for him, but cannot commit to this cost, as he is on benefits. He wants their garden to be somewhere he and his fourteen year old daughter can spend time in. A light, cordless strimmer will allow him to keep the garden tidy and will hopefully enable him to spend time with his daughter,. creating new positive memories and improving his mental health.

My client has been struggling with depression since the passing of his wife twelve months ago. This has had a devastating impact on himself and his three teenage children. C is struggling financially with the cost of living rising, and is unable to purchase a bed for his daughter, who is currently sleeping on the sofa. I have helped C with a family food parcel and it would be so nice to help him further by getting a bed for his daughter. All support will be greatly appreciated.

M and her three children were abandoned without any explanation. The children and six, four and eighteem months old. Mum has been receiving letters from Creditors and came for help to sort things out. She has been left with a large debt for items she never purchased, or received, and a Debt Relief Order has been recommended. He starts his new school in September. This poor child has been through so much over the last year, watching his mum in a bad place.
