Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This young lady has autism which manifests in heightened sensory sensitivities. Therefore, the texture of wet dishes, the smell of detergent water, and clinking pots etc. is overwhelming for her. Added to this, she is obsessive about germs and cleanliness. As this young lady lives alone, she finds washing up very stressful and often painful. Her mental health team feel a dishwasher would relieve some of the stress of daily living, but as she cannot work, and is in receipt of Personal Independence Allowance, this is unaffordable. Please will you help?
Still £180 left to donate
Total needed £200The social prescriber has referred W to us, a veteran who is living on his own. He has kidney failure and heart failure, and has also had an aortic aneurysm. W suffers with seasonal depression and is living in a very dark flat. He is trying to move, but it is a very slow process. He enjoys painting, which aids his wellbeing, but requires natural light to do this which is very limited in his property. W would appreciate a Seasonal Affective Disorder lumie lamp.
