Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Our client is a single guy who was in temporary accommodation. He has been successful in applying for a flat and is looking forward to moving in, but is in need of a cooker which will allow him to be able to cook meals. He is on benefits, receiving Universal Credit, and is being supported by his local Foodbank. Any help you can give towards a cooker would be very gratefully received.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150L, who volunteers for a local Charity, has been involved in a car accident which has damaged her spine and left her unable to walk well. Due to her health deteriorating, she is having to move. L does not have any savings and does not own her property. We would be so grateful if the funds could be donated so that she is able to pay for moving her belongings. Hopefully, the move will mean that L is able to get the help she needs. She would like to thank you, in advance, for donating.
Still £135 left to donate
Total needed £150L lives alone in a social housing flat and is a recovering alcoholic with his only income being Employment and Support Allowance. He does not have a working vacuum cleaner; therefore, his property does not meet the required cleanliness standards and he is due an inspection from the Housing Association. Due to his limited income, debts, and and an increase in bills, he is unable to afford to buy a vacuum cleaner. L has become increasingly anxious about this situation and fears he will be evicted. Please can you help?
