Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £100M is unable to work, due to mental health issues and; unfortunately, got into debt. Fortunately, he has been working hard with Christians Against Poverty over the past couple of months, and has been recommended for a Debt Relief Order (DRO) which is going to cost him £90. We know that there are those of you out there who care enough to help him raise the fee for the DRO. Bless you if you are one of those who are willing to help him raise this and have a fresh start.

Total needed £90J is a single mother who is working in a low paid job and on minimum wage. She came to us to ask for our help to sort out her entitlement to various benefits, but she is still having to pay back benefit overpayments, so money is still very tight. She needs prescription glasses and the pair she had were accidentally smashed. J is not eligible for a free eye test, so your support of £100 towards the cost of the test, and some new glasses, would be such an encouragement at this time.

Total needed £150H has eight children, the youngest, who is six months old, is in hospital with a heart condition and one child is at a special school. Five of them are of school age and two are changing schools this September, meaning H will only have to pick them up from two schools. H and her husband are reliant on benefits and are worried about how to pay for the new uniforms. This money would mean that the children can make a good start at their new school and would take a load off H, who also visits her baby daily.
