£0 remaining for a living room carpet
We're raising £200 to help P buy carpets for her new home. P and her husband suffer from ill-health and were recently delighted to have have been rehoused in a home more suitable for people who suffer from arthritis, which P suffers from. Unfortunately, the new home did not come with carpets and, being on benefits, they are struggling to afford this. A living room carpet would make a big difference to them. We would really appreciate your support to help them.
This young woman has recently been reunited with her baby and they are now beginning a new life. L has been allocated a property through Birmingham City Council, but has absolutely no furnishings at present. The property only has concrete floors which is not safe for her baby to be able to crawl and walk around on. We would love to provide carpets for this small apartment, giving L and her baby a new start. Mum does not work, so struggles financially at present, especially to heat the home without carpets.
This lady and her children fled the family home and moved from the area, due to domestic abuse. Mum was burgled at the new address and the trauma of the chain of events has caused post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, panic attacks and depression. They moved area again, but they are struggling financially. We are providing food bank support and mum is getting therapy, but is unable to work. Her cooker is broken and needs replacing. With your kind donations we want to help.
This gentleman has long term mental health issues and epilepsy. His issues were exasperated when his marriage broke down. This was followed by a volatile relationship and he was the victim of violent incidences which were witnessed by his son. He moved out and was homeless for four years. He now has a flat, and his eleven year old son spends three days a week with him. He is not able to work and receives benefits. We are providing food bank support, but he needs a fridge. With your kind donations we want to help.
