£0 remaining for part payment of a bankruptcy fee
S has had a very difficult few years. A difficult relationship breakdown followed by major surgery on her spine, due to an accident. Her mental health has suffered terribly, as a result, and her inability to work has meant that she couldn't pay her debts. S is being hounded by bailiffs for a Council Tax debt and she is feeling suicidal. Bankruptcy is her only option. Please can you help?
C has suffered a burst pipe which has flooded her house, ruining the carpets. She has no contents insurance to protect her and pay for replacements. Her only income is Universal Credit with no savings and no family to help out. We've had an offer of free carpets from a major carpet wholesaler, but we need help with the fitting costs. We would be ever so grateful for any help offered.
S has been working with Christians Against Poverty. As part of her journey out of debt, she needs to open a new bank account. S is on benefits and suffers from anxiety, hardly leaving the house, and currently cannot afford a new passport which she would need in order to open a new bank account. This gift would help S to renew her passport online and be supported to do so by a support worker. Thank you for your help.
L is a single mother with health problems, with type 1 diabetes and other health conditions, and has two children to support. She is in receipt of benefits and unfortunately has fallen into debt. We are helping with food vouchers so L can pay off her debt and manage her budget better but the family need a new washing machine. L is not in a financial position to afford this large purchase.
