£0 remaining for a washing machine
K is a single mother to a teenage son who is struggling to pay her rent and Council Tax, and has got into debt. She is caring for her mother, who has stage four cancer, and her father, who has heart and mental health problems. K has complex mental health struggles which are exacerbated by her situation. To cap it all, her washing machine is unsafe to use and is giving off smoke. K's son has a scholarship with a local football club and needs kit washing frequently. Please could you help her buy a new machine?
M is a pensioner who is living off a basic State Pension that is topped up by Pension Credit. She is actively working with Crosslight to get her large debts in order. M is currently living in council accommodation, however, her wardrobes are old and broken and currently it is difficult to store clothes and other items. It would be really helpful if M could have a donation of £150 towards new wardrobes and storage to keep her home tidy and organised.
