£0 remaining for an electricity top-up
S is a young single lady who is working a zero hours contract. She has been very unwell the last two months and her pay was only just enough to cover her rent. S has nothing left to top-up her electricity for the next two weeks until she receives some Universal Credit. She needs to work from home, but can't work unless she has power, and the cycle of low pay will continue. S is trying to get out of this cycle and needs an extra helping hand to get back on her feet. Please could you help her?
This man, who visited the St Vincent de Paul (SVP) centre, is currently homeless. His mental health is suffering greatly, as a result of his lack of friends, family or stable home. With your generous donations, we at SVP truly hope to be able to provide four nights of respite. We intend to work closely with this young man over the course of the next four nights to establish the best course of action that will enable him to start over.
This young lady has submitted a divorce filing. Our partner agencies have been of tremendous help to her and her son in securing a temporary home and school. The family is in need and is trying to start afresh. St Vincent de Paul is asking for kind donations towards clothing, food and a television for her home, as they attempt to start over.
This woman, who recently lost her mother, turned to St Vincent de Paul for comfort. She has severe anxiety problems, therefore, she needs a lot of help. We humbly ask for your donations so that this woman, who has been dealing with her mother's death, multiple court appearances, and a tremendous deal of separation anguish, can have a two-night respite and four weeks of food parcels. This will be very beneficial to her, as she sorts through her worry and prepares for the burial.
