£0 remaining for a television
C, who has been known to our sex worker outreach team for fifteen years, was groomed into prostitution by her mother at eleven years of age. Raped by a punter who got her pregnant, C recently gave evidence against him following his imprisonment; she was very brave. C has been clean from drugs for six months, lives in a city hostel and is trying to stay off the streets. She would love a television to help take her mind off the trauma, but cannot afford this, due to being on Universal Credit.
Our client has returned to Brighton after leaving a domestic violence relationship and has returned with nothing. He is in need of a mobile phone with some credit, and some clothes and shoes. He is in the process of applying for Universal Credit.
C is a single mother of two daughters who is currently pregnant. She had a difficult start to life, being brought up in the care system, and lives with multiple health problems that make day-to-day living very difficult. There are huge concerns that the pregnancy might not hold as her waters have broken early and she needs as much bed rest as possible. C's oven recently caught on fire and she desperately needs a new one to make healthy meals for her family, but she has no savings or family support. Please can you help?
C, who has additional needs, lives with her husband and two children. After life-changing medical incidents for both her and her husband, there is significant financial strain on the family. Regularly reliant on Foodbank, the family are concerned about Christmas. C is trying her best to save money each month to purchase a new bed for her son, as the current one is unsuitable. This money would be used to purchase a more suitable bed so that they can afford the daily/weekly essentials.
