I was able to have a chat with this client, who confirmed that he was in need of a laptop to be able to do some training and to communicate more easily with others. He has been in the country for eighteen years and is awaiting visa approval. Hence, he is not allowed to work and has no recourse to public funds. This client lives with a friend and uses the local foodbank to help with his financial difficulties. He would be most grateful for a laptop which would enable him to move forward.
B, who was homeless, has just been given the keys to a new home. They are so happy; however, the flat is completely empty. We have applied for grants for most of the furniture, but this takes time. We want to try and help B find a bed and mattress in time for Christmas. We will order the bed from the British Heart Foundation. Please can you help?
Our client, who is fifty two years old, has no warm clothes and the zip is broken on her coat. At times the zip loosens and she is restricted to walking slowly, but when walking fast it pops opens. This prevents her from getting involved in outdoor activities or shopping, especially as it is getting colder. Our client would really appreciate a winter coat and scarf to keep her warm. She is finding it very hard to support herself as she is not in receipts of benefits. Please would you help?
