£0 remaining for a special needs buggy
A and D have three children and their middle child is due to start at special school in September. As a growing boy, mum and dad are struggling to keep him safe when out and about. The child has Global Development Delay and a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. They have needed to take time out of work to support all three children, and would benefit from a disability pushchair to keep their little boy safe and allow them to enjoy more family days out.
Mum, dad and their son were homeless for three months. Mum lost her live-in job through constructive dismissal. They now have a house, but there are no carpets. Mum now has a job but is on a low wage and is costing her £50 per week to get to work. Her husband cannot work due to COP (cryptogenic organizing pneumonia) and other health issues. They have applied for benefits and are paying off debts by an arrangement. We are providing food bank support. We can provide carpets free of charge, but need to fund the fitting charges. With your kind donations, we wish to help.
RA, the mom in a family of five in Wolverhampton, has recently got in touch with the St Vincent de Paul centre for help with clothing. The family hasn't been able to find anything suitable for their needs at local clothing banks or through local appeals. These Kurdish asylum seekers, with children aged thirteen, seven and six, have have very little money to spend on essentials. We want to be able to purchase clothing - especially as they have little in the way of winter clothing. Thank you for any support you can give.
A is a mother of four children. They are Asylum seekers living on the outskirts of the city of Wolverhampton. The two youngest children are aged 9 and 5. The primary school they attend is too far for them to reasonably walk and so they need to take the bus. The cost of bus travel for the family is really difficult. They are only entitled to just under £50 each on their ASPEN card per week and this is to pay for basic essentials including food. AJ reached out to the SVP for help with bus passes.
