£0 remaining for school uniform and shoes
A is a single parent to two young girls. The eldest is starting at secondary school in September and that school's uniform policy is that all pupils wear the branded garments with the school logo as standard, so no one is singled out for looking different- but this comes at a huge expense. Can you help this Christians Against Poverty client to ensure her daughters have all that is required for the start of term?
This family have experienced extreme hardship in recent years, due to domestic abuse that has resulted in mum having a life-changing brain injury. They have worked incredibly hard to rebuild their life. Unfortunately, their current fridge freezer is broken and beyond repair. The need for this appliance is essential for basic living. Your donations would make a huge difference, both emotionally and practically for this young family.
This lady lives on her own having escaped from domestic abuse. She suffers from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and is unable to work. She only receives Universal Credits and we are helping with her Personal Independence Payments application. Food Bank support has been provided in the past. The flat she is living in does not have carpets and we can carpet her home free of charge, but just need a little help with fitting costs. Praying our generous Acts 435 donors will help her.
