£0 remaining for a washing machine
This gentleman left the family home, where his ex-partner lives, with his young son, due to a safeguarding issue. He stopped work to care for his son and lived with his parents in limited space. They now have accommodation which is ten plus miles away from his parents. Dad is on benefits, but has a lot of expenses including travelling to and from his parents to set up their new home. His wider family are unable to help financially. They need a washing machine and with your kind donations we wish to help.
This family have lived in a refuge and a temporary home, having fled from domestic abuse two and a half years ago. Mum, who has a heart condition, anxiety and depression, cares for two children under eleven years old. Her benefits are being used to resolve bills for their temporary home. We are providing Food Bank help. They have been provided with a home, but need carpets for their living area, stairs and landing. We can provide carpets, but need help with fitting costs. Praying our kind Acts 435 donors will help the family.
This man has been using a microwave for all his meals over the last six months. He has severe mental health issues and is unable to work because of these, which means he is surviving on Universal Credit which he finds barely enough to cover food and bills. It would be wonderful to be able to help him purchase a cooker so he isn’t as limited with meals, he feels this would help him mental health too if he could eat more healthily.
This lovely family of nine in our church, who have recently been granted asylum, are moving into an empty council flat. This is due to a circumstance in which they were made homeless, through no fault of their own. They are having to start from scratch and have nothing. One of the main items they are in need of now is a washing machine, as they are a big family.
