£0 remaining for an electric top-up
This lady continues to struggle through a really tough time, seeking to stabilise her situation following her children being taken from her. This month has been particularly hard with children’s birthdays, and her desire to continue to do what she can for them. This lady is doing the very best she can to make it through difficult circumstances and this emergency top-up will give her much needed breathing space for another few weeks.
J fled from a domestic violence relationship, and has come back to Wales with nothing. She has since found herself a little house but is missing a lot of household items. We would like to request funding for a tumble dryer please- she has limited outdoor space and as such has nowhere to hang out washing. We have supported J to get other household items through Discretionary Assistance Funds and other charitable donations. This will help J to rebuild her home and in turn rebuild her confidence and self esteem.
This lady and her partner have a long term relationship with the local Christians Against Poverty centre and, over the years, have come to a really stable place. So much so that this lady is having her children to stay with her for the longest period in a number of years. In the light of this, she wants to sort her garden out and create a usable space. Initially this means removing significant amounts of rubbish, much left by previous tenants. This funding, if raised, will go towards this initial step.
This gentleman has sadly experienced anti-social behaviour in his property which he shares with his disabled father. They were forced to move into temporary accommodation for a time, which hasn’t been easy, but have now thankfully been given a new place. Unfortunately though, due in part to the cost of the initial move, he cannot afford the removal van this time around. This funding, if raised, will be used for hiring the local man with a van to sort this for them.
