£0 remaining for household bills
My client, who suffers with depression, works part-time as a cleaner and travels daily to get to work at a cost of £81.00 per month for her bus ticket. Unfortunately, having paid for the monthly pass, she lost it on her way home and has had to pay for another one. This extra cost has put my client into financial crisis and she is struggling to pay for food and bills. We have managed to get her a food parcel, for which she was grateful, but any further funding support would be appreciated
R, who was recently employed as an electrician, is finding his feet again after a significant amount of time unemployed. However, his work kit was recently stolen and he needs to replace his PPE. This has been a big blow for R, as he has worked hard to get this job and has been really enjoying this new opportunity, but with no savings, he can't afford the big expense of getting the PPE, having only just got back into work. Please can you help R continue doing this brilliant job?
M is Ukrainian and moved to England via 'Homes for Ukraine.' He was accepted for an ice hockey scholarship in America, but unfortunately, was refused the 'right to remain' and returned to the UK after nine months. M's original host family was not able to re-house him so he moved in with some friends, but this was not suitable as their home was overcrowded. M was referred to our supported accommodation in April 2024 and has progressed well to the point he is at now, moving to his own flat. This support would help M to obtain a cooker which would enable him to cook healthy meals.
This family whose eldest daughter has autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is non-verbal and can be dysregulated, spends time on a device in order to rest from communication after school so they can enjoy family later. The family have two children and three step-children. This girl's iPad has sadly been broken by her brother. Her parents can't cover the cost of the iPad, due to limited funds. Their stepchildren, who they collect from one hundred miles away, stay with them every weekend so they are spending large amounts of money on petrol.
