£150 remaining for a second-hand laptop
S is an asylum seeker who attends our English classes regularly. He wants to use the time while he is waiting for his case to be processed to improve his English. He works really hard and would benefit from having his own laptop so that he can access more courses online and do his home work. Thank you so much for helping S during this difficult time in his life by enabling him to work on his language and IT skills.
R recently came to faith through his thirteen year old daughter who expressed a desire to explore Christianity. Although he doesn’t live with her, due to personal circumstances, their relationship has deepened and they were baptized together on Easter Sunday. Over the past year, R has been transforming his life and has secured a council house. However, it lacks carpeting and we are seeking £200 to help provide comfort for them as they continue their faith journey together.
We support a gentleman who has an outstanding historical court case. The final hearing is in Middlesbrough and he requires financial support in order to get there and back. Once our client has dealt with this hearing, he will be able to move forward with his support plan. Also there is an issue with him not owning any clothing, apart from the one set of clothing he has on his back. This is an issue with his personal hygiene and confidence. The only income this gentleman has is Universal Credit.
L is a single mum of four and one of her children has Autism and is very challenging, causing mum to have a lot of difficult days. Even though she has all these challenges, mum is always helping everyone else and is a great help in church, always putting everyone else before her. L is having a bit of a hard time at the minute. Her car has broken and she can’t afford the full amount as her washing machine has also broken, so her rainy day savings will not cover both. Please can you help her to pay for her car repair?
