£110 remaining for a refurbished laptop
This Ukrainian family, living in Leeds, is being supported with basic items from Meeting Point in Armley, but is struggling to save to purchase a family laptop. Five family members are all studying at college or school and are not able to complete assignments and do research without a laptop. One family member is struggling with ill health. Please can you help them with funds of £150 to purchase a laptop to share for studying, as well as keeping informed of developments in their home country of Ukraine.
C and her three children have been evicted from their from home as her landlord is selling the property. She has been rehoused by the local authority, but her new house has no floor coverings, and the floors are concrete with wooden floors upstairs. C is worried that her children will injure themselves and is desperate for help with carpets. We have an offer of free carpets, but need help with the fitting cost. Any support would be amazing.
R is a twenty three year old single mum with a little boy aged two. Her only income is Universal Credit and she has no savings. R has been living with her mum, but has now been offered a property through the local authority. Unfortunately, there are no carpets anywhere in the house. R is desperate for her house to become a home and is praying that kind Acts 435 donors will help with this.
N, who has struggled with his finances since his wife passed away, as this was what she handled, is on a low income of Universal Credit and has no savings. He is alcohol dependent since his wife died, but is receiving support. N has agreed to move to a smaller property now he is on his own, but there are no carpets down in the house. We would love to be able to help him make his new house into a home with help from kind Acts 435 donors.
