£0 remaining for construction site personal protective equipment (PPE)
D has recently been released from prison and has an employment opportunity on a construction site. He worked hard in prison to stay clean and out of trouble. We have supported D with clothes for normal life and interviews, however, to get onto construction sites for his hopeful new job role, D requires a hard hat, hi-viz, work trousers and top, steel toe-cap boots and wellies. Please lets help him turn his life around.
This family whose eldest daughter has autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is non-verbal and can be dysregulated, spends time on a device in order to rest from communication after school so they can enjoy family later. The family have two children and three step-children. This girl's iPad has sadly been broken by her brother. Her parents can't cover the cost of the iPad, due to limited funds. Their stepchildren, who they collect from one hundred miles away, stay with them every weekend so they are spending large amounts of money on petrol.
M has recently been released from prison and has been offered a job on a construction site as a self employed individual. He worked hard in prison to complete as many plant and machinery tickets as possible, and would now like to work in this industry. M has nothing, apart from an opportunity that he would love to grab with both hands. His PPE (hat, hi-viz, work trousers and work shoes) and a screwdriver/drill set are stopping him from having the chance to turn his life around. Please can you help?
This lad is a single parent with four dependent children, one of whom is severely disabled. Recently, they were moved into temporary accommodation, due to damp, but have now been moved into permanent accommodation in another area. Mum has a lot of outgoings, for example, travelling costs for the children to get to school, and the move. This lady's washing machine has broken and she really needs another as soon as possible, due to the needs of her disabled child, and also extra bedding.
