£200 remaining for a solicitor's fee
Our applicant is a single lady who suffered a mental health crisis triggered by a combination of burn out, bereavement and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from child abuse. This led her to stop working and become homeless. She is now in temporary accommodation under the care of the mental health team. Our applicant has a visa renewal to submit and she is unable to afford the £5000 fee. She is going to apply for a fee waiver. However, the solicitor’s fees are £250, which she cannot afford. Please can you help this lady in crisis?
R recently came to faith through his thirteen year old daughter who expressed a desire to explore Christianity. Although he doesn’t live with her, due to personal circumstances, their relationship has deepened and they were baptized together on Easter Sunday. Over the past year, R has been transforming his life and has secured a council house. However, it lacks carpeting and we are seeking £200 to help provide comfort for them as they continue their faith journey together.
We support a gentleman who has an outstanding historical court case. The final hearing is in Middlesbrough and he requires financial support in order to get there and back. Once our client has dealt with this hearing, he will be able to move forward with his support plan. Also there is an issue with him not owning any clothing, apart from the one set of clothing he has on his back. This is an issue with his personal hygiene and confidence. The only income this gentleman has is Universal Credit.
E is a care worker who has continued to work, despite a prolonged period of homelessness. She has recently moved into a flat and has no flooring at all, only the very basics, i.e. a bed, cooker and a chair. E is on a low wage as she works for an agency and spends a lot on work-related travel. She would be most grateful for some funding to help her carpet her living room.
