£0 remaining for a tablet
This family of five refugees from Syria is settled locally, but is in need of a tablet to help the children with school work and the parents with their English practice. The school is unable to provide any technical support, and family finances do not run to this purchase. A tablet will help to boost the parents' confidence in speaking English and better enable them to support the children with their school work.
KM, who has relocated to the Northeast with her family, faces medical issues that necessitate frequent hospital visits. This situation has contributed to her feelings of isolation, negatively impacting her mental health. Your support would greatly assist in providing KM with a phone and internet access, enabling better communication with authorities. Additionally, it will help secure clothing for her children.
My client, TB, has been struggling with his mental health for the last twelve months and lost his job as a result of this. This has further impacted his mental health and has had an impact on his finances as he awaits benefits. TB has had to take his car of the road as he could no longer afford to run the car and pay his household bills. He is now in receipt of a new job offer, but is unable to get there without a car, as the job starts at 5am. We are asking for help with an MOT, tax and insurance.
This gentleman, who is in a very desperate situation, is being pursued by debt collection agencies for a chronic debt. He has agreed to commence payment, but the impact of this is that he is now experiencing food insecurity and is desperate for help. £200 would allow us to pay off part of his debt as part of his payment plan. This will allow him to reduce his payments so that he can manage his daily outgoings. He is going to start working with our Christians Against Poverty advisor for further help and support.
