£0 remaining for a second-hand laptop
S, a refugee who is in her sixties, is from Nigeria and is having a very difficult time here together with her daughter, due to racism. We are helping her where we can. As mum has no device apart from her phone, it is very hard for her to fill out online forms, seek out relevant information and find jobs to help them to live a dignified life. Having her own laptop would make a huge difference in their lives. Thank you so much for helping them.
R is an asylum seeker who has joined an IT course at our college this autumn. To make full use of the course and his studies he would really benefit from having a laptop on his own instead of only using a phone. Thank you so much in advance for helping him to get his own laptop, which will also help him with other learning and accessing online information.
S is an asylum seeker who studies hard in our English classes. To help him to access further online learning and to be able to do his home work, having his own laptop would benefit him immensely. It would help him to move on in his life and prepare him for further steps to take in the near future such as job searches and applications. Thank you so much for helping him to receive his own laptop. This means a lot to him.
R is a single lady who has been destitute and normally survives on charities helping her out as well as volunteering expenses. However, there have been no volunteering opportunities recently. As a result, she has been struggling to even afford food and essential toiletries like toilet rolls, bath soap etc. R has now been called back to volunteer in one of the charities near her and is due to start next week. However, in the meantime she needs some financial support to help her purchase these essential items.
