£0 remaining for a single cot-bed and bedding
C, a single mum who is fleeing violence, has a two year old child who was abandoned by the family as the child is Muslim and C is White British. On a low income, she has been housed, but in desperate need of a bed and bedding for the little girl, who is sleeping with mum. The child is small and needs a cot-bed which can be extended as the child grows. Bedding is also needed as she wets the bed.
R is due to have a baby at the end of January. She has no recourse to public funds and has no income coming in at the moment as she has recently fled Domestic Violence. The church and other charities have helped with baby clothes and bottles, and R is using food banks. R struggles to speak English and had no family to help. Your support to buy a pram and a cot for her new baby would be much appreciated.
B, who is fifty one years old and is in a domestic violent relationship, has hit rock bottom and cannot see a way out. Her partner has control of her bank card and comes and goes from the home. We are supporting B in finding the strength to get professional help or to leave, and have put her in touch with a women's aid charity. She has no food in the house for herself and no money on her meters for gas and electric. We would like to to-up B's meters to keep her warm and buy a food voucher.
Please can you help this mum of three boys aged thirteen, ten and three, who has special needs and severe mental health? Her house may be repossessed and she's not got a penny to get food for her and her boys, because of her mentally and physically abusive partner who has a gambling problem. Local people have given some food, as the boys were so hungry. Mum asked if we could get her £200 in vouchers so she can have enough to feed the children for as long as possible, as that is her main priority.
