J, a single mum with four children aged fifteen, thirteen, eight and one, is receiving Universal Credit and Child Benefit. Her fifteen year old daughter is autistic with severe mental health concerns. She has not been attending school, awaiting an Education Health & Care Plan. J secured a house transfer to be closer to school, but the house is in poor condition with no flooring. She also has mental health conditions and post traumatic stress disorder. We are requesting support towards flooring in the daughter's bedroom.
L is a single mum with five children aged fourteen, thirteen, nine and one. The fourteen year old has autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mum receives Universal Credit and Carers Allowance. Nine months ago the family had to relocate thirty miles away due to domestic abuse. The children kept attending school, so L was unable to save due to the cost of the school run. They are now moving back closer to their family support network, but the accommodation is totally empty. L is seeking help for second-hand beds for her fourteen and thirteen year old children.

K lives with her partner and four year old who is waiting for a diagnosis for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Mum has a number of health concerns and is also caring for her partner who has had a heart attack and still awaiting Personal Independence Payment and the fitting of a wet room. The family are currently only receiving Universal Credit which just covers absolute essentials, and are regularly having to attend food larders. The washing machine is broken and the family is unable to purchase a new one so we are requesting support for this.
