£0 remaining for a swing set
This family, who have three daughters, are looking for a way to spend more time together. The two older daughters are active and love playing at the park, however, the youngest has a serious, limiting illness, needing constant care and supervision. Mum and dad feel that they don't get to spend time with their eldest daughters, and would love to utilise their back garden by installing a swing set with climbing wall so that they can take any opportunity to get outside and have some much needed fun together.
N, a young woman who has completed rehabilitation and is making great progress, is settling in really well to volunteering at Glasgow City Mission. She now has her new flat, but before she can fully move in, needs flooring for it, especially for her hallway, bathroom and lounge, not least because the flooring is not in great shape. N would be really grateful if she could get help with this, so that she can fully move in and continue to create a stable home that will continue to help her thrive.
Our client, D, needs photo ID on his release from prison to facilitate all the official things he needs to do to begin his new life post prison. He is engaging positively with Junction 42 and this practical support towards a passport will aid his recovery and his reintegration into society.
S has been in her home for six months now and in order to finish her flat off, she would love to get flooring for her bedroom, and materials to decorate and brighten her home. Previous support has made her home so much more liveable than it was and she has shown great resilience for a young woman who is setting up home, recovering from an abusive relationship and adjusting to a new culture. S is proactive and continues to meet with our counsellor to improve her language skills, building her confidence step by step.
