This young person, who arrived in the UK as an unaccompanied minor, is an asylum seeker and a victim of trafficking. He recently enrolled on a construction course at college, but needs help to buy equipment including safety boots, waterproof trousers and a jacket suitable for construction. The applicant has not been able to purchase the items yet, as he receives a very limited weekly allowance.
This young person, who was a professional cyclist in his home country, had to flee and is now alone in the UK. He would really like to be able to cycle again, but does not have the money to buy the necessary gear. This young person would like our help with a voucher to buy gloves, cycling tights and a cycling winter jacket. Unfortunately, these are quite expensive and he currently does not receive any money in the Home Office hotel. It would really help this young person feel better and help his mental health.
