£200 remaining for a washing machine
A, his wife and two children have recently moved to a new property and have no white goods. This is making things very difficult, as they have two children, both with additional needs. A works but has a zero hours contract so work is variable. He has moved to this property with cheaper rent, but it needs work and flooring coverings too, so he is doing his best. We would like to support them with a washing machine and would appreciate your support to do this.
This Ethiopian asylum seeker, who is supported by a local charity after mental health therapy referral, wants to integrate, volunteer in the local community and access education as an IT student. In Home Office accommodation with no access to public funds, he needs to use the bus to go to college, his GP, our day centre and volunteering, all of which will foster social inclusion. We would like to offer six weekly bus passes and couple of months of mobile data to pursue his studies, pending donation of a laptop which the charity is trying to secure.
Our client, aged fifty nine, is long term homeless and is supported in the asylum process by local charities/community in South London. She is extremely vulnerable and is accessing physical and mental health services. Our client has been in hostel accommodation in North London for several months. She needs to travel to Southwark to access health and asylum support plus legal advice and we would like to provide six weekly bus passes. Our client has nothing and needs basic toiletries, clothing etc. This funding will offer some stability and maintain links to her support network.
T is a vulnerable migrant trying to sort his immigration status. As he currently has no immigration status he cannot receive benefits or work. He is street homeless, which has led to very poor health including an ongoing skin condition as a result of rough sleeping. Please could you help us to buy him a "gift pay" voucher which would enable him to purchase warm clothes, as he is facing street homelessness in the cold months ahead? Thank you.
