£0 remaining for a cooker and a microwave
Please can you help this young lady who has been a victim of domestic violence and is now having a fresh start in a new area. She has no family support and is suffering from debilitating mental health problems. She is on Universal Credit. She has nothing to cook on and her microwave has now broken too. We have sourced a new cooker and microwave at a good price and she would be very grateful if you could help her purchase them which would really make a difference to her quality of life. Thank you.
E, who has two children, lives in the North East of England with her partner. Owing to poor health, her partner cannot work and E is currently unemployed so that she can take on the role of carer for her partner and children. Money is really tight, and their washing machine has just broken. E is really worried, as she was hoping to spend the small amount she has saved on gifts for the children at Christmas. Any donation towards replacing the washing machine will be most welcome.
This lady, who is a single mum to three children, one of whom has additional needs and is supported by The Junction, also cares for her dad who has cancer. She suffered a stroke at a young age, leaving her with weakness down one side of her body. This lady is on benefits, but cannot afford a cooker, which impacts on what food she can give her children. Mum often goes without food to her feed the children. Despite this, she volunteers through an agency working in the community, supporting the elderly by cooking and cleaning for them.

He needs a vacuum, a sofa, coffee table for the lounge and some cleaning equipment to live comfortably. This young person has very little and these items would make a huge difference to his life.
