£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
Our client is an asylum seeker from religious controlled Uganda, who was at risk of being kidnapped and forced to convert. She currently only has a counter top fridge, which is too small and means she has to shop daily which costs too much. As she is an asylum seeker she only has enough to buy food for the week but has no extra funds to purchase large items. Her local church has donated lots of other furniture, she would be really grateful for your help to purchase a fridge freezer.
J is forty three and this year had a terrible accident which left him needing back surgery He then lost his job and his marriage broke down, leaving him homeless, meaning his whole world had fallen apart in a matter of months. J has been offered a flat and the rent will be paid by Universal Credit. His ex-partner will not allow him to take any items from the home. J has nothing for the flat except a blow-up bed his friend has gifted. New carpets will keep the heat in and make it homely.
Our client, who is fifty four years old and has a son aged twelve, has just been given custody of her eleven year old grandson due to her daughter having issues with drugs and alcohol. B has tried so hard to support her daughter, but she knows she now has to put the boys first. Currently her grandson is sleeping on a blow-up mattress on her son's bedroom floor At a tight squeeze, our client will be able to put another bed in the bedroom, but cannot afford one out of her part-time wages. Please could you help?
