£0 remaining for two single beds and mattresses
Safe Families is supporting this single parent who has three children. Mum is struggling financially as she isn't able to work at the moment, due to her health issues and caring for her eldest son who has additional needs and is non-verbal. He has broken the beds and, therefore, mum has asked for some support with providing her two eldest children with new beds and mattresses. These will be more comfortable and will hopefully provide the children with a good night's sleep. Thank you.
Our client, who is fifty four years old and has a son aged twelve, has just been given custody of her eleven year old grandson due to her daughter having issues with drugs and alcohol. B has tried so hard to support her daughter, but she knows she now has to put the boys first. Currently her grandson is sleeping on a blow-up mattress on her son's bedroom floor At a tight squeeze, our client will be able to put another bed in the bedroom, but cannot afford one out of her part-time wages. Please could you help?
This young woman, who came to this country for humanitarian protection, eventually moved in to her own place and has worked hard to make it a home. She attends college and has also taken a part-time job. Unfortunately, this has meant that her bills have increased as she is no longer entitled to some benefits, but she wants to work. When this young woman moved, she was given a second-hand washing machine which has broken down and she doesn't have the means to replace it. This young woman would be very grateful for any help you could give.
E is a single lady who lives on her own and is working on a zero hours contract meaning sometimes she is called in for work and sometimes she is not called in at all. E is struggling financially to make ends meet, and in need of a washing machine as the current one has broken down. Your support will be highly appreciated.
