£0 remaining for urgent car repairs
A is a single parent of a 4 year old who is going through a difficult time at the moment. A has bipolar disorder but manages it well, raising a child on their own. She relies on and needs her car in order to get to work, but has been told that the car brakes need urgent attention- she has 3 quotes, costing just over £200. A is now worrying as she does not have any extra money to be able to afford this. Any support would be greatly appreciated to help A and reduce the stress this is causing her. Thank you.
J is forty three and this year had a terrible accident which left him needing back surgery He then lost his job and his marriage broke down, leaving him homeless, meaning his whole world had fallen apart in a matter of months. J has been offered a flat and the rent will be paid by Universal Credit. His ex-partner will not allow him to take any items from the home. J has nothing for the flat except a blow-up bed his friend has gifted. New carpets will keep the heat in and make it homely.
Our client, who is fifty four years old and has a son aged twelve, has just been given custody of her eleven year old grandson due to her daughter having issues with drugs and alcohol. B has tried so hard to support her daughter, but she knows she now has to put the boys first. Currently her grandson is sleeping on a blow-up mattress on her son's bedroom floor At a tight squeeze, our client will be able to put another bed in the bedroom, but cannot afford one out of her part-time wages. Please could you help?
J, who has finally got her own flat after being homeless after many years, suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and receives Universal Credit. J is absolutely so excited about finally being able to start living a real life. Cooking is a good therapy for her mental health and she would love a cooker. This is a referral from a church volunteer looking after this women who need empowering, but has no family willing to help due to struggles themselves.
