£0 remaining for counselling
This gentleman is a dedicated volunteer who has severe learning needs that have impacted his adult life. Recently he suffered the loss of his father, which has left him deeply affected. With limited family support, he struggles to regain stability and does not fully understand his financial responsibilities, leading him into a downward spiral. At St Vincent de Paul, we are urgently seeking assistance to provide this gentleman with six one-on-one counselling sessions, which we believe will help him regain stability and work towards recovery.
This lady, who has been referred to us through the local Housing Association, receives Universal Credit, is struggling financially and is need of support in being able to buy clothing and shoes. She is a size 24-26, has no footwear at all and went to a hospital appointment recently in bare feet. A gift of £120 would help this lady so much. Thank you.
This man is in need of support as he has not had a cooker for over a year. He cares for his fourteen year old son and is having to go to the mum of his disabled son's home to cook food, bring it back to his home and then use his microwave. This man is self-employed, so his monthly income fluctuates and is not guaranteed. The mum has now moved further away which is also impacting on his fuel costs. A gift of £200 for a cooker would really change their lives. Thank you.
