£0 remaining for clothing for two children
This is a second request to cover the cost of new clothing for two of this lady's four children. She has fallen into rent arrears, due to her housing benefit being cut, as she was previously overpaid. A gift of £200 would provide warm clothing for them, especially needed now as the weather gets colder. Thank you for your consideration.
This lady, who has been referred to us through the local Housing Association, receives Universal Credit, is struggling financially and is need of support in being able to buy clothing and shoes. She is a size 24-26, has no footwear at all and went to a hospital appointment recently in bare feet. A gift of £120 would help this lady so much. Thank you.
This man is in need of support as he has not had a cooker for over a year. He cares for his fourteen year old son and is having to go to the mum of his disabled son's home to cook food, bring it back to his home and then use his microwave. This man is self-employed, so his monthly income fluctuates and is not guaranteed. The mum has now moved further away which is also impacting on his fuel costs. A gift of £200 for a cooker would really change their lives. Thank you.
M, an asylum seeker who arrived in our area eight months ago, having had to leave his family in Syria (his mother, father and sisters), receives £9 per week. He has engaged with our organisation, attending different activities such as digital sessions, English language, chess club and lunch cultural events each week. M needs help to buy clothes as he doesn't have any winter clothes and would be very grateful for your support.
