£0 remaining for wallpaper, storage shelving and boxes for child's bedroom
This young mum has a fourteen month old daughter and would like to get her room set up to be a safer place for her to play, now she is mobile. Due to a lack of storage, this baby is currently drawing on the floor as a form of stimulation, because her toys are getting broken or lost in the small space. This donation will be used to buy some shelving/boxes and wallpaper in order to help mum create a space she can be proud of and in which her fourteen month daughter can thrive and safely play.
We have known R for the last couple of years and recently he has been homeless for a number of months after having to flee from a violent situation. R has now been given a new flat, and is keen to get in and make a go of his new place. He has managed to source a couch, and has some belongings in storage. R does not have any carpets in his new flat and it is very cold. We would love to help him get his living room carpeted, especially as the temperature is dropping. Any help offered would be brilliant.
This single parent household is moving from temporary homeless accommodation into a council tenancy. Mum has an eight year old autistic child and two other children. The family fled domestic abuse and lived for prolonged periods in an over-crowded, temporary homeless flat whilst waiting for own place. There is no working television at present in the household. Please can you help?
This twenty four year old, who has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, is needing an adapted bathroom to enable safe showering and the means to remain independent in own home. This would prevent falls, leading to hospital admission etc.
