This gentleman, who is fifty eight years old, suffers with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and is unable to work. He has been homeless and sofa surfing for the last three years, but has now, happily, been offered his own flat. This gentleman has none of the essentials to set up home and so needs pots, pans, cutlery, a bin, a toaster, tea towels, towels and bedding. He is so happy to be given the chance of a settled home and would be very grateful for any help that you could give.
Through our Family Matters project we have an uncle who is looking after his niece full-time and needs to move house. Due to the new circumstances, he has spent his money on new furniture for his niece and has no extra finances to pay for flooring. This uncle needs his niece's bedroom carpeted. He has just graduated as a nurse and is working really hard to be a good uncle. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
