£0 remaining for blinds for the living room and children's bedrooms
We have a family who are in receipt of Universal Credit and struggle to find the cost of bills, as everything is getting extremely tight and mum is going though child maintenance, but really finds heating her house a problem. Mum would like to get four large blinds and one small blind to keep the heat in the living room and two bedrooms, as the windows are poor and need extra blinds on windows to prevent draughts.
C is a young man who was recently rehoused following a period of homelessness. While he is while delighted to have a flat, it has concrete flooring. We would be grateful for any assistance towards the supply and fitting of a carpet in the living room to make the space warmer and more homely.
This family of five, including mum, dad and their three children, has fallen on some hardship after having to take time off work unpaid to support family. It has now become increasingly difficult for them to pay for essentials and keep their head above of water. Mum has fallen behind on her bills and is struggling financially. It would be amazing if we could help them with their electric and gas bills so they can concentrate of getting out of debt and back on their feet for a fresh start. This family just needs a little love and it would be amazing if we could support them this Christmas time.
L is a single parent and full-time carer for her two sons who have special needs. She receives benefits and uses a food pantry to eke out the little money she has. L's television has broken and cannot be repaired, and she cannot afford to replace it. This is a major necessity in helping mum to look after her two boys.
