Mom is a single parent who is struggling to replace broken bunk beds and mattresses for her eight and eleven year old sons. She is on Universal Credit and working as a cleaner two hours per day. There is no immediate family that is able to provide assistance, due to strained relationships. This support will prevent mom going into debt.
C is a young man who was recently rehoused following a period of homelessness. While he is while delighted to have a flat, it has concrete flooring. We would be grateful for any assistance towards the supply and fitting of a carpet in the living room to make the space warmer and more homely.
